Leadership and Management Development

Our Approaches
One of our first clients, having previously been “sent” to countless training sessions to “correct” his interpersonal skills, was able to flourish when we discovered how he learned best and what his personal motivators were. We offer a range of learning approaches and discuss with you the most relevant and beneficial to your situation. Some example approaches include:-
Facilitation of Workshops – whether its strategy development, interpersonal skills, customer relationships, team development, leadership development, performance management or more that you want to address, we can design programmes that are highly interactive, engaging, relevant and make the learning an enjoyable and beneficial experience.
Facilitated Discussions – sometimes having a neutral facilitator to be present at challenging or tricky conversations can be enough to reach agreeable solutions. A skilled facilitator doesn’t always need to be a subject expert, but have the ability to focus and guide the discussion to a positive outcome. We also provide accredited mediation techniques if the situation requires this.
Group or 1-1 Coaching – at Welcoming Success we are proud to share over 20 years of coaching experience with our clients. Whether coaching on a 1-1 basis or as a group, the range of topics can be as diverse as your business. Developing the coaching skills of our clients’ leaders and managers is also high on the recent list of requests. When leaders adopt effective coaching skills with their teams, it encourages accountability, responsibility, positive time management and the growth of your company’s learning.
Action Learning – by developing your own Action Learning groups, you can develop self managed teams where challenges and problems are resolved through the application of everyones’ knowledge and expertise.
Psychometric Tools and 360 Degree Feedback – often our clients want to share feedback in a safe and confidential environment, to help people develop and enhance the values and the behaviours that are important to their business. Self awareness and knowledge of how we are perceived can be a significant contributor to making positive changes to how we engage with others. We follow the Code of Good Practice for Psychological Testing (British Psychological Society) and are accredited to use a wide range of tools to help people understand their preferences, working styles and impact on others. We find that psychological tools work hand in hand with relevant 360 processes. The success of these tools always lies in the sensitivity of the professional who conducts the debrief sessions.
